Calculator inputs stay on your device
The numbers you type into our calculators — sale prices, loan balances, depreciation, dates — are processed entirely in your browser by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, stored, or logged. Close the page and they're gone.
What we do collect
- Server logs. Like virtually every website, our server records standard technical data with each request: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this for security, debugging, and understanding aggregate traffic. Logs are rotated and not used to identify individuals.
- Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.
- Contact messages. If you email us, we receive what you send — your address and message — and use it only to respond.
Cookies
The site works without requiring cookies. If analytics or advertising services are enabled, they may set cookies subject to their own policies; you can block cookies in your browser without breaking the calculators.
Third-party services
If pages display advertising or embed third-party content in the future, those providers may collect data under their own privacy policies. We'll keep this page updated to reflect any services actually in use.
Data requests and children
Since we hold essentially no personal data beyond ordinary server logs and any email you've sent us, there's little to request — but if you'd like anything you've sent deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If our practices change, this page changes first. Material changes will be reflected in the date below.
